RTS was formed in 1998 in Jamestown, ND to provide scrap processing to the salvage industry.
In 2000, RTS opened an office in Colorado and started a demolition division, and in 2009 established an additional location in Muskogee, OK. Currently RTS is active throughout the Midwest, Plains, and Rocky Mountain States.
In 2003, RTS entered into a Joint Venture arrangement with Tellus Environmental Consultants, Inc., of Minneapolis, MN to provide environmental abatement services to industrial and government clients.
